Parks, squares, the Vrbas River, green areas and spaces in settlements are part of the everyday life of the citizens of Banja Luka. However, citizens and the professional public currently do not have a guaranteed mechanism to be involved before decisions are made on their development, construction or reconstruction.

That is why the NGG "Initiative for a Plan", with the support of the PRAGG project, launched the campaign "For the City Together". The aim of the campaign is to establish a permanent and binding mechanism for public participation in the planning of green and other public spaces. The initiative advocates the announcement of public competitions for the development of conceptual designs, the involvement of citizens in defining needs and the selection of the best solutions with the support of an independent expert commission.
