The youth organization "Vision of Youth" marked the success of its campaign for the opening of a Youth Center in Bijeljina with an event attended by young people, representatives of civil society organizations, and local government officials. The event showcased the campaign's results, and attendees had the opportunity to hear speeches from young activists and guests who supported the initiative. Additionally, there was a discussion about the next steps toward the realization of the Youth Center, with an exchange of ideas and plans for the future.

"This moment is more than just the success of the campaign – it is proof that young people can make a difference when they are persistent and given the opportunity to be part of the decision-making process. The organization 'Vision of Youth' has left a significant mark on the community over the years through numerous initiatives, educational programs, and advocacy activities. I am proud of all our volunteers, every idea, every meeting, every signature we collected. This is our small victory, but also a responsibility to keep moving forward", said Rada Mićić, the president of the Youth Organization "Vision of Youth".

It is important to note that "Vision of Youth" has actively advocated for the opening of the Youth Center since July 2024, conducting research, consulting with the youth of Bijeljina, and organizing events and meetings with government representatives and decision-makers. The initiative was finally included in the 2025 budget of the City of Bijeljina in March, securing the funds necessary for its launch. This is the result of months of hard work and dedication from the youth, but also a clear sign that their energy and commitment have been recognized.

However, there is still much work ahead. The key challenge now is finding an appropriate space and equipping it, as well as establishing long-term support for the Center’s operations. The youth in Bijeljina deserve a stable and sustainable space where they can learn and develop their potential.

"The Youth Center in Bijeljina is needed not only as a physical space, but as a symbol of investment in the future of this city. I am here because I believe that the energy of young people can drive change, and this initiative clearly shows that. Let’s continue building safe, open spaces for the development of youth together", said Lea Radanović, activist and guest of the event.

The opening of the Youth Center is an important step, but not the final goal. Continuous support from both institutions and the community is needed for the Center to truly become a place for gathering and developing youth in Bijeljina. "Vision of Youth" continues its work and invites all interested individuals to join in creating a space that will reflect the needs and interests of the youth in this city.
