On November 5, the Helvetas Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) team had the pleasure to welcome a vibrant group of master’s students along with their professors from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, providing an opportunity to learn more about Helvetas' impactful work in Bosnia and Herzegovina and across the region.

They immersed in the world of Helvetas' initiatives and activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and across the Eastern Europe region, on creating impact in areas such as good governance, promoting economic opportunities, and addressing climate and environmental challenges. The question and answers session sparked engaging conversations on topics critical to development cooperation.

"We are certainly happy to introduce them a firsthand look at Helvetas’ work" said Csilla Schalbert, Country Manager for Helvetas BiH. "Hosting the group from the University of Geneva was a true joy, refreshing also for us! The students’ perspectives enriched a lot our discussion."

This visit not only highlighted Helvetas BiH’s dedication to spreading knowledge and fostering international cooperation but also strengthened connections with academic institutions committed to understanding and supporting the development of Eastern and Southeastern Europe.
