In response to the devastating floods that struck central Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 4th, Helvetas BiH has taken swift action to support local municipalities by donating much-needed air dehumidifiers to aid in recovery efforts.

In collaboration with Civil Protection and the Red Cross, Helvetas BiH team coordinated the distribution of the dehumidifiers to homes in Kiseljak, Fojnica, and Konjic, aiming to enhance local capacity for civil protection and improve the effectiveness of aid delivery. The dehumidifiers are already in use in several areas, with additional units set to be transferred to Donja Jablanica, the hardest-hit region, to expedite the recovery process there.

Due to its dedication to supporting vulnerable communities, Helvetas BiH provided assistance to the residents of the affected communities from its own resources.
