Every decision we join and every question we raise makes democracy stronger and closer to the people. That is exactly why these events matter – they encourage us not to watch democratic processes from the sidelines, but to shape them with our voices, ideas, and initiatives. Only through active participation can we be sure that decisions are made in the interest of all citizens. Protecting democracy means acting every day. We have the power to inspire others, launch initiatives, and defend the rights of those around us. For this reason, we thank all citizens who supported this year’s Days of Civic Participation with their presence and engagement, as well as all the media outlets who shared the messages of these events — because we are all part of civil society!
