Since young people in Zenica had not had a place to gather, socialize, and share their experiences for many years, as well as do something useful for the community, they decided to find a way to convince the local authorities to allow them to use the premises of the former Youth Center. The City of Zenica granted them permission, and members of various activist groups joined forces to first clean, repair, and then equip the center, which later evolved into a Youth Center. Today, the center is not only a place where young activists gather but also older individuals. It is a place from which numerous ideas, activities, and projects that contribute to the community originate.
